Walk approximately 200m along Schmittenstraße to the CityXpress valley station. Purchase a CityXpress round-trip ticket (€22.50). The gondola will take you to the mountain station, a short, easy walk to the Plettsaukopf Reservoir. Bus fare is approximately €2-€3.

    If driving from Zell am See, navigate to the CityXpress valley station (Franz-Wisgrill-Strasse, 5700 Zell am See). Park in the APCOA Rathaus underground car park (Hypolithstrasse 2, 5700 Zell am See), a short walk from the CityXpress. Walk approximately 200m along Hypolithstrasse to Gartenstrasse and turn right to the CityXpress valley station. Purchase a CityXpress round-trip ticket (€22.50). The gondola will take you to the mountain station, a short, easy walk to the Plettsaukopf Reservoir. Parking fees at the APCOA Rathaus are approximately €2.50 per hour.

The hike is approximately 3.4 km uphill and takes around 1.5 - 2 hours. Note that you can also take the CityXpress gondola (€22.50 round trip) to avoid the initial ascent.
