A single bus ticket costs around €2.50. Alternatively, a day ticket for unlimited rides on bus 840 costs approximately €10 and covers the return trip to Salzburg.

    From Berchtesgaden train station, it is approximately a 30-minute walk to the Salt Mine. Follow the footpath alongside the roundabout from the center of Berchtesgaden in the direction of Salzburg. The path is about 2 km.
