    From Salzburg, take bus line 25 from Salzburg Hbf (main train station) towards St. Leonhard/Untersbergbahn. The bus departs approximately every 20 minutes and the ride takes about 35 minutes. The bus stops directly in front of the Untersbergbahn cable car station. A single ticket costs around €3. Alternatively, consider the Salzburg Card, which includes free transportation and access to the Untersbergbahn.

    Once at the Untersbergbahn station, purchase a ticket for the cable car. A round-trip ticket for adults costs €34. The cable car runs frequently, with additional trips as needed. The ride to the top takes about 8.5 minutes, ascending to the Geiereck summit at 1,776 meters.

    If arriving by car, parking is available at the Untersbergbahn valley station. Parking fees are €4 per day for cars. From April 5, 2025, motorhomes will be charged €25 overnight, and buses will be charged €20 during the day and €50 overnight.
