From the Gemeindeamt (town hall) in Kolsassberg, walk approximately 200 meters downhill towards the Ruine Rettenberg. Follow the signs for the 'vordere Hängebrücke'. After crossing the bridge, a steep path ascends to the Maxnhagerhof. Continue following the signs for the 'hintere Hängebrücke'. A path to the right leads to the Hintere Hängebrücke.

From Innsbruck, take the train to Terfens-Weer. From there, take a bus to Kolsassberg Jägerhof. From the bus stop, it is a short walk to the Gemeindeamt (town hall), where you can begin the walking directions to the bridge.
