If you are driving from Baku, take the M2 highway heading towards Shamakhi. The drive takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you reach Shamakhi city, follow the signs towards Pirkuli. Continue on the local roads until you see signs for the Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory. The observatory is located approximately 8 km from the center of Shamakhi. There is free parking available near the observatory.

Public Transportation
From the central bus station in Baku, take a bus to Shamakhi. The bus ride takes about 2 hours and costs approximately 2-3 AZN. Once you arrive at the Shamakhi bus station, you can take a taxi to the observatory for about 10-15 AZN, or you can walk the remaining 8 km to the observatory if you prefer to enjoy the scenery.
