From Ismayilli city center, head north towards Talıstan village. The drive is approximately 7 km and takes around 15-20 minutes. Once in Talıstan, follow local signs towards Javanshir Fortress. Note that the road becomes unpaved and rough as you approach the village. Parking is available in Talıstan village. From there, the final ascent to the fortress is only accessible on foot or by horseback. Parking is limited.

From Talıstan village, the Javanshir Fortress is about 4 km away. The path is steep and can be challenging, taking approximately 1-2 hours to reach the fortress on foot. Alternatively, hire a local villager with a horse for a more comfortable ascent. Negotiate the price beforehand. There are no entrance fees to access the trail or the fortress.
