From Shamakhi, head to the main bus station located in the center of the city. Look for buses headed to Ismailli. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Inform the driver or conductor that you are going to Ismailli State Reserve, and they will let you know when to get off. You should disembark at the Qaraməryəm-İsmayıllı-Şəki road.

After getting off the bus on the Qaraməryəm-İsmayıllı-Şəki road, you will need to walk approximately 3 kilometers to reach the entrance of Ismailli State Reserve. Head north on the main road, following the signs for the reserve. The path is straightforward, and you will see natural scenery along the way. Keep an eye out for the reserve's entrance, which is marked by a sign.
