You will turn off the M3 onto a smaller road that leads directly to the volcanoes. The entire drive should take about 1 hour. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for dirt roads as the last stretch might require a 4x4.

For those using public transportation, take a bus or minibus from Shirvan to Baku. The buses leave from the main bus station in Shirvan. Once in Baku, you will need to take a taxi or another minibus that goes towards Gobustan, which is the area where the Mud Volcanoes are located. Make sure to tell the driver your destination.
