Agh Gol National Park, also known as White Lake National Park, is a protected area in the Aghjabedi and Beylagan regions of Azerbaijan. Established in 2003, the park was created to preserve the migrating routes, wintering grounds, and nesting areas of waterfowl and water birds. The park's centerpiece, Lake Agh Gol, is believed to have been formed by a massive earthquake in 1139. The park's landscape is a captivating mix of semi-desert and wetland habitats. Expansive steppe grasslands meet the lake's edge, creating a diverse ecosystem that supports a rich variety of life. Over 140 species of birds have been recorded in the park, including migratory birds such as swans, geese, ducks, pelicans, egrets and waders.
