Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, head towards Bhandaria Upazila. The park is located opposite Bhandaria Thana. From Barisal city, you can take the Barisal-Bhandaria Road (also known as the Barisal-Chandpur Highway). After approximately 30-40 minutes of driving, you will reach the Bhandaria area. Look for the Bhandaria Thana on your left, and the park will be directly opposite it. Ensure that your vehicle is fueled up as there are limited fuel stations along the route.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Barisal city to Bhandaria. Buses leave frequently from the Barisal bus terminal. The journey takes about 1 hour, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Bhandaria bus stop, you can either walk or take a rickshaw to the park. It's located just across the street from Bhandaria Thana, so it should be straightforward to find. Make sure to clarify with the bus conductor that you are heading to Bhandaria to avoid any confusion.

• Rickshaw

  If you are already in the Bhandaria area and need to reach the park, taking a local rickshaw is a convenient option. Just inform the rickshaw puller of your destination – Bhandaria Shishu Park, opposite Bhandaria Thana. The fare should be negotiated beforehand, typically ranging from 20 to 50 Taka depending on the distance and time of day.
