Getting There

Car
From any location in Jaflong, head towards the main road leading to the Sylhet region. Follow signs directing you towards the Sylhet city center. Once you reach the junction for the highway towards Shillong, take the left turn. Continue on this road for approximately 60 kilometers until you reach the border checkpoint at Dawki. After passing through customs, continue on the road towards Shillong for about 30 kilometers. As you approach Shillong, look for signs directing you to Laimer. Follow these signs until you arrive at Kharmih View Point, which offers a breathtaking view of the city.

Public Transportation
Start at Jaflong's bus terminal where local transport services operate. Look for a bus heading towards Sylhet. The fare is typically around 50 BDT. After reaching Sylhet, transfer to a bus heading to Dawki which costs about 60 BDT. Upon reaching Dawki, switch to a local taxi or shared auto-rickshaw to take you to the border checkpoint. Once you pass through customs, continue to Shillong by catching another bus. The fare for this leg is around 150 BDT. As you get closer to Shillong, ask the driver to drop you off at Laimer, and from there, you can walk or hire a local taxi to reach Kharmih View Point.
