Boat
To reach Dobeki Forest Camp, you'll likely need to take a boat from starting points such as Godkhali Ferry Ghat or Sonakhali Ferry Ghat. These ghats are accessible by road from Kolkata. From Kolkata, you can take a train to Canning and then hire a shared auto-rickshaw or taxi to Godkhali. Alternatively, take a bus from Kolkata to Basanti and then local transport to Godkhali. From Godkhali or Sonakhali, boat tours are available to Dobeki and other parts of the Sundarbans. Boat tour costs vary depending on the duration and type of boat, ranging from approximately INR 200-500 per person for shared boats to INR 2000-4000 for private boats. Ensure the boat tour includes entry fees and permits to the Sundarban National Park.
