    The final approach to Karamjal Tourist Center is almost exclusively by boat. From Mongla Ferry Ghat, hire a local engine boat (locally known as a trawler). The journey takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours along the Pashur River. Negotiate the boat fare in advance; a typical round trip to Karamjal only costs between 1,000 to 1,500 Taka. Ensure the boat operator is aware of the center's location. This cost covers the boat journey to and from Karamjal. Upon arrival at Karamjal, there is an entry fee to the center itself: Bangladeshi tourists: 20 Taka per person, Foreign tourists: 300 Taka per person. Note that a 15% VAT is applicable on all entry fees.
