After approximately 50 kilometers, take exit 9 towards Ghent. Merge onto the N9, which will lead you directly into the city. Once you approach the city center, follow the signs for 'Historisch Centrum' until you reach Botermarkt 1, where Ghent City Hall is located. Be aware that parking in the city can be challenging. Look for parking garages like 'Parking Centrum' nearby, which may incur a cost of around €2.50 per hour.

To reach Ghent City Hall via train, start at the nearest train station in Bruges. Purchase a ticket to Ghent St. Peter's Station (about €10). Trains run frequently, approximately every 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Ghent St. Peter's, exit the station and take tram number 1 (direction: 'Bovenpoort') or tram number 24 (direction: 'Wondelgem') and get off at 'Korenmarkt' stop. From Korenmarkt, it is a short 10-minute walk to Botermarkt 1. Follow the signs to the historical center; Ghent City Hall will be visible as you approach the square.

You can take a bus from Bruges Coast to Ghent by finding a local bus station. Look for the buses operated by De Lijn that go towards Ghent. Purchase a ticket from the machine or the driver (around €5 for a one-way trip). The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Get off at the stop 'St. Pietersplein' in Ghent, then either walk or take tram number 1 or 24 from there to Korenmarkt. After getting off at Korenmarkt, it's a 10-minute walk to Botermarkt 1, where Ghent City Hall is located.
