Walking
From Jakar town center, head southwest on the main road towards the Jakar Dzong. Continue straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with a sign for Tamshing Lhakhang. Turn left at the sign and follow the dirt path. After another 15 minutes of walking, you'll see the beautiful Tamshing Lhakhang on your right.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle in Jakar town. Start from the main square and bike towards Jakar Dzong. Once you reach the dzong, take the road heading southwest. After approximately 2 kilometers, look for a sign pointing towards Tamshing Lhakhang and turn left. Continue biking for another kilometer until you reach the temple.
Hiking
For a scenic hike, begin from Jakar town and make your way towards the Jakar Dzong. From the dzong, take the trail that leads south towards the river. Cross the bridge and follow the path along the riverbank. After about 30 minutes, you will come to a fork; take the left path leading up the hill, which will take you directly to Tamshing Lhakhang.
