    If you are driving from Gasa, take the road towards Punakha. Follow the signs for Wangdue Phodrang and continue until you reach the junction at Semtokha. At the junction, take a left turn onto Je Bamo Lam SE. Continue straight for about 2 kilometers until you see Simtokha Dzong on your right. There is parking available near the entrance.

    To reach Simtokha Dzong using public transportation, you will first need to catch a bus from Gasa to Wangdue Phodrang. Buses run frequently throughout the day and the journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at Wangdue Phodrang, find a local taxi or shared taxi to take you to Semtokha. The taxi ride should take about 30 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at Je Bamo Lam SE, where Simtokha Dzong is located.

    If you are already in the Semtokha area, you can walk to Simtokha Dzong. From the center of Semtokha, head southeast on Je Bamo Lam SE. The Dzong is about a 15-minute walk away. Simply follow the road signs leading to the Dzong, and you will reach your destination.
