Car
If you are starting from La Paz, take the main highway (Route 3) heading towards Coroico. The journey is approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic and weather conditions. As you drive, follow the signs towards 'Camino de la Muerte.' You will reach a fork; take the left towards Coroico. The road will start to ascend into the mountains, and you will see scenic views. Be cautious as the road is narrow and winding. Once you reach the town of Coroico, proceed to the entrance of Camino de la Muerte, which is about 10 minutes from Coroico. Parking is usually available near the entrance, but check ahead for availability.

From La Paz, you can take a bus to Coroico. Buses leave from the main bus terminal in La Paz. The fare is around 30-50 BOB (Bolivianos) and the journey takes about 3 hours. After arriving in Coroico, you can either take a taxi or a local minibus to reach the entrance of Camino de la Muerte, which is approximately a 10-minute ride away. Make sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your ride.
