Car
If you are driving from Trebinje, head southwest on M-6 road towards Dubrovnik. After approximately 30 kilometers, you will reach the border with Croatia. Ensure you have your travel documents ready for border crossing. Once you cross into Croatia, continue on the D8 road towards Dubrovnik. Follow the signs for Lokrum Island. You will need to take a ferry from Dubrovnik to Lokrum Island. The ferry leaves from the Old Port of Dubrovnik and the ticket costs around 150 HRK for a round trip. The ferry ride takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Lokrum, follow the signs to the Botanical Gardens.

Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from Trebinje to Dubrovnik. The bus departs from the main bus station in Trebinje. The journey takes about an hour and costs around 50 HRK. After arriving at the Dubrovnik bus station, walk to the Old Port (approximately 15 minutes) where you can catch the ferry to Lokrum Island. The ferry costs about 150 HRK for a return trip. Once on Lokrum, follow the signs to the Botanical Gardens.
