Car
To reach Dubrovnik Old Town by car from the Trebinje Region, head southwest on the E73 road (also known as the M6). Drive for approximately 30 kilometers (about 30 minutes). As you approach the border, you will need to cross into Croatia at the border crossing point at Doli. Be prepared for a possible border check, so have your identification and any required documents ready. After crossing the border, continue on the D8 road towards Dubrovnik. Follow the signs for Dubrovnik until you reach the city. Once in Dubrovnik, look for signs directing you to the city center or Old Town. There are parking options available outside the Old Town; however, parking can be limited, so arrive early.

To travel from Trebinje to Dubrovnik Old Town using public transportation, start by taking a local bus from Trebinje's central bus station to the Dubrovnik bus station. Buses run regularly, and the journey takes about 45 minutes to an hour. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time for specific departure times. Upon arriving at the Dubrovnik bus station, you can either walk (approximately 20-30 minutes) or take a local taxi to reach the Old Town. If you decide to walk, head towards the waterfront and follow the signs for the Old Town, enjoying the scenic views along the way. Be aware that there may be a small fee for the bus ticket, usually around 7-10 Croatian Kuna (about 1-1.5 Euros).
