Getting There

Car
From Trebinje, head southwest on M18 towards the border with Croatia. After approximately 30 km, you will reach the border crossing at Ivanica. Make sure to have your passport ready for inspection. Once you cross into Croatia, continue on the D8 road towards Dubrovnik. Follow the signs for Dubrovnik and keep driving for about 30 km. Upon entering Dubrovnik, follow the signs to the Old City, which is clearly marked. You can park at one of the designated parking areas near the Old City, but be aware that parking fees apply, which can range from 10 to 20 HRK per hour.

Public Transportation
You can take a bus from Trebinje to Dubrovnik. The bus station in Trebinje is located in the city center. Buses to Dubrovnik run several times a day, and the journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at the Dubrovnik bus station, you can take a local bus (number 1A or 1B) to the Old City. The fare for the bus is around 15 HRK. The local bus will drop you off at Pile Gate, which is one of the main entrances to the Old City. From there, you can easily walk into the historic area.
