The water's transparency allows you to clearly see the rocks and submerged logs at the bottom. The most spectacular display occurs between April and September when a beam of sunlight penetrates through a crack in the cave and strikes the water's surface directly. The best time to witness this phenomenon is between 10:00 am and 1:30 pm. The cave was discovered around 1940 by a hunter named Gustavo while he was hunting.
