Vale do Pati, located within the Chapada Diamantina National Park in Bahia, Brazil, is a haven for trekkers and nature enthusiasts. This isolated valley, also known as the 'Diamond Highlands,' was once a hub for diamond mining and coffee production. The decline of coffee production led to its abandonment until the late 1970s. Now, a handful of families remain, offering hospitality to trekkers. Popular attractions include the Pati Valley Viewpoint (Mirante do Pati), Funis Waterfall, Castle Mountain (Morro do Castelo), and Cachoeirão Waterfall.
