From the town of Palmeiras, head towards Av. Barão do Rio Branco. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you see a sign for Ribeirão do Meio. Follow the signs leading you off the main road onto a dirt path, which leads to the parking area near the entrance. From the parking area, prepare for a short, approximately 1 kilometer hike to reach the main attraction. The trail is well-marked but can be rocky, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
Public Transport
Take a local bus from Lençóis or other towns in Chapada Diamantina to Palmeiras. Buses usually depart from the central bus station in Lençóis. Once in Palmeiras, you can walk to Av. Barão do Rio Branco or take a taxi to the starting point of Ribeirão do Meio. The taxi fare is typically around 10-15 BRL. From there, follow the walking directions.
