Metro

Start your journey at the nearest metro station, preferably 'Cinelândia' or 'Carioca'. Board the metro line 1 (the light blue line) towards 'Jardim Oceânico'. Get off at the 'Uruguaiana' station and transfer to metro line 2 (the green line) towards 'Jardim Botânico'. Travel to 'Botafogo' station and transfer to a bus. Take the bus line 100 (the red 'Coringa' bus) towards 'Niterói'.
Bus

Once you are on bus line 100, enjoy the scenic ride across the Guanabara Bay. Stay on the bus until you reach the 'Niterói Centro' stop. From there, transfer to bus line 36 (Niterói - Fonseca). Sit back and relax until you reach the 'Alameda São Boaventura' stop, which is very close to your destination.
Walking

After getting off at the 'Alameda São Boaventura' stop, walk towards the address Alameda São Boaventura, 770. The Orquidário e Bromeliario do Horto do Fonseca - Orquidário Imperial will be on your left-hand side. The garden is beautifully marked, so keep an eye out for the entrance!
