Getting There

  • Metro

    Start your journey by taking the Metro Line 1 (the Blue Line) to the 'Cinelândia' station. From there, transfer to Line 2 (the Green Line) and head towards 'Botafogo'. Get off at 'Botafogo' station.

    Exit the 'Botafogo' metro station and locate the bus stop for the BRS lines. Take the BRS 21 bus (which goes to 'Alto da Boa Vista') or the 584 bus towards 'Cascatinha'. The bus will take you through the city towards the park.

    Once you disembark from the bus at the 'Cascatinha' stop, you will be very close to the entrance of Tijuca National Park. From there, walk up Estrada da Cascatinha for about 10-15 minutes until you see the park entrance on your right.
