If you are near Posto 9 on Ipanema Beach, head east towards Rua Visconde de Pirajá. Walk along the beach until you reach the main road. Once you reach Rua Visconde de Pirajá, turn left and walk straight for about 10 minutes. You will find the Obelisk Ipanema at the intersection of Rua Visconde de Pirajá and Rua Teixeira de Melo. The obelisk is located right at the center of the square.
