Car
From Serra dos Órgãos National Park, take the BR-116 highway south towards Rio de Janeiro. Continue on BR-116 for approximately 25 kilometers until you reach the junction with the BR-040 highway. Merge onto BR-040 towards Rio de Janeiro. After about 35 kilometers, take the exit toward Lagoa. Continue on Rua Jardim Botânico until you reach the Botanical Garden located at R. Jardim Botânico, 1008. There is a parking area available near the entrance, but it may incur a fee.

From Serra dos Órgãos National Park, you will need to first reach the nearest bus terminal. The best option is to take a local bus to the town of Teresópolis. Once in Teresópolis, head to the bus terminal and catch a bus to Rio de Janeiro. Look for a bus heading to 'Alvorada' or 'Jardim Botânico'. The bus will drop you off close to the Botanical Garden. From the bus stop, it's a short walk to R. Jardim Botânico, 1008. Be prepared for a bus fare, which typically costs around R$ 20-30, depending on the route.
