Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from the entrance of Serra dos Órgãos National Park and head towards the main road (BR-040). Continue on BR-040 for about 15 km until you reach the exit for Rio de Janeiro (BR-116). Merge onto BR-116 and follow the signs for Rio de Janeiro. After about 30 km, take the exit for Rua Murtinho Nobre. Continue straight until you reach the Museu da Chácara do Céu located at R. Murtinho Nobre, 93, Santa Teresa, Rio de Janeiro. There is street parking available, but be cautious of parking regulations.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Museu da Chácara do Céu using public transportation, exit Serra dos Órgãos National Park and head to the nearest bus stop. Take a bus towards Rio de Janeiro, which will usually take you to the main bus terminal (Rodoviária do Rio). From there, transfer to a local bus that heads towards Santa Teresa.
