Getting There

    From Praça Guimarães, the main square in Santa Teresa, walk towards Rua Almirante Alexandrino. Continue until you reach the intersection with Rua Monte Alegre, then turn left. Follow Rua Monte Alegre until the end, then turn right onto Rua Santa Rita. From there, follow the signs to Mirante do Curvelo, a short walk on your left. The walk is approximately 15-20 minutes and can be steep in some sections.

    From the Centro (Downtown) of Rio de Janeiro, take the Santa Teresa Tram (Bonde) from the Bonde Station near Carioca Station. Get off the tram at Largo do Curvelo. From Largo do Curvelo, follow the signs to Mirante do Curvelo, which is about a 5-minute walk. The tram operates from Tuesday to Sunday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with trams running every 20-30 minutes. Expect long lines, especially on weekends. The tram fare is approximately R$20.
