Walking
If you are starting from the main dock area in Jost Van Dyke, head southeast towards the Great Harbour. Continue along the coastal path, enjoying the scenic views of the ocean. Keep walking until you reach the main road. Once you are at the road, turn left and continue walking until you see signs directing you to the nearby beaches. Note that Dorothea Beach is located on St. Thomas, not directly on Jost Van Dyke. Therefore, you will need to take a ferry or boat to reach it. You can check local ferry schedules for the best departure times.

From Jost Van Dyke, you can arrange a boat taxi to take you to Dorothea Beach in St. Thomas, which is approximately a 30-minute ride. Once you arrive at Dorothea Beach, you can explore the area, but be careful as it is known to be rocky and not ideal for swimming.
