Getting There

    From any location in the Rhodope Mountains, navigate to Trigrad. If you are coming from Smolyan, take the road E87 towards Trigrad, which is approximately 20 km away. Once you reach Trigrad, follow the signs to Devil's Throat Cave. There is a parking area right next to the cave entrance. Note that parking may incur a small fee, usually around 2-5 BGN (Bulgarian Lev) depending on the season.

  • Public Transportation

    If you are using public transportation, take a bus from Smolyan to Trigrad. Buses run regularly and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Trigrad, you can either walk to Devil's Throat Cave, which is about a 15-20 minute walk, or you can take a taxi for a small fee (approximately 5-10 BGN) to reach the cave entrance directly. The main road leads directly to the parking area next to the cave.
