For those using public transportation, take a bus from Sofia to Samokov. Buses leave regularly from the Ovcha Kupel bus station in Sofia. From Samokov, you can take a local bus to Borovets. Once in Borovets, ask locals for directions to the Unnamed Road leading to the hiking trail. It is about a 20-minute walk from the bus stop to the trailhead. Be prepared for possible transport costs: the bus from Sofia to Samokov costs approximately 10 BGN, and the local bus to Borovets is around 3 BGN.
