Getting There

  • Public Bus

    From Shumen, head to the central bus station, which is located near the city center. Look for buses heading towards Madara or 'Madara Fortress.' The journey typically takes around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Madara bus stop, exit the bus and you will see a sign directing you to the fortress. Follow the signs, which will lead you on a short walk uphill to the entrance of Madara Fortress.

'Slavyanski') until you reach the intersection with 'ul. 8-mi Mart.' Turn left on 'ul. 8-mi Mart' and continue straight until you reach the outskirts.
