Getting There

    Start from the central square in Shumen, known as the 'Freedom Square' (Площад Свобода). From the square, head northeast on Boulevard Slavyanski (булевард Славянски) towards the intersection with Hristo Botev Street (улица Христо Ботев). Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Tsar Osvoboditel Street (улица Цар Освободител). Turn left onto Tsar Osvoboditel Street and proceed until you reach the bus station (Автогара Шумен). From the bus station, take bus number 10 or 12 towards Pliska. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Pliska' stop. After disembarking, walk towards ul. Han Krum (улица Хан Крум). The National History-Archaeological Reserve will be on your left side after a short walk.
