If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Strandzha and head southeast on the main road (E87). Continue driving for approximately 20 kilometers. You will pass through several small villages. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards the Cave of Bastet. When you reach the coordinates 41.9670051 latitude and 27.4881152 longitude, you will find a parking area near the entrance to the cave. Parking is usually free, but confirm upon arrival.

To reach the Cave of Bastet via public transportation, take a bus from Strandzha to the nearest town, which is Malko Tarnovo. Buses run regularly, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once in Malko Tarnovo, you’ll need to take a taxi to the Cave of Bastet. The taxi ride should cost around 10-15 BGN (Bulgarian Lev) and will take about 15 minutes. Make sure to agree on a fare with the driver before starting your trip.

If you're feeling adventurous and are already in the vicinity of the Cave of Bastet, you can hike to the cave from Malko Tarnovo. From the bus station, head west on the main road, then follow the path leading to the cave, which is well-marked. This hike is approximately 5 kilometers and can take around 1-1.5 hours.
