Getting There

  • Public Transport - Bus

    From the Varna city center, head to the Central Bus Station located on 'Knyaz Boris I' Boulevard. Look for bus number 148, which heads towards the 'Primorski' area. Board the bus and enjoy the ride for approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the stop called 'Morska Gradina' (Sea Garden). Once you exit the bus, walk towards the entrance of the Sea Garden. The Public Astronomical Observatory and Planetarium 'Nicolaus Copernicus' is located just inside the entrance on your left.

    If you are near the Varna Cathedral, start walking towards the Sea Garden. Head south on 'Knyaz Boris I' Boulevard until you reach the entrance of the Sea Garden. Enter the garden and continue walking straight for about 500 meters until you see the observatory on your left. The walk should take around 10-15 minutes.
