From Praia de Atalaia, head southeast on the main road (Rua 1 de Maio) towards Trás os Montes. Follow the road for approximately 15 km. You will pass through scenic landscapes and local villages. As you approach Trás os Montes, look for the sign indicating Baía de Medronho. Turn right onto the unpaved road leading towards the bay, which is about 3 km away. Be cautious as the road may be rough in some sections. There is no parking fee, but ensure your vehicle is parked safely to avoid any obstruction.

Begin your journey from Praia de Atalaia by taking a local minibus (known as 'aluguer') heading towards Trás os Montes. The fare is typically around 150 CVE (Cape Verdean Escudo). Once you reach Trás os Montes, disembark at the main square. From there, you can hire a taxi to Baía de Medronho, which should cost approximately 500 CVE. The taxi ride will take about 15 minutes, and you can negotiate the fee beforehand.
