Walking
Start your journey at the central square of Assomada, known as Praça de Assomada. From there, head northwest on Rua de São Jorge. After approximately 500 meters, you will reach the main road (EN1-SL1). Cross the road and continue straight on Rua de São Jorge until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the road towards Ribeira da Barca. Follow this road for about 3 kilometers. As you approach Ribeira da Barca, look for signs indicating the direction to Gruta de Aguas Belas. The entrance to the grotto is a short walk from the main road; follow the trail signs leading to the grotto.
