Walking
If you're starting from the city center of Praia, head towards Avenida Amílcar Cabral. Walk straight along this main avenue until you reach the roundabout at Praça do Município. From there, take the exit towards Rua da Liberdade. Continue walking straight until you reach the fork in the road. Take the left path onto Rua 5 de Julho. Follow this road until you see the signs pointing towards Ribeira Principal. The park is located approximately 3 kilometers from the center, so it should take about 30 to 40 minutes on foot.

Public Transport (Minibus)
From the city center, find a local minibus (often referred to as 'Aluguer') heading towards Ribeira Principal. Look for a minibus with a sign that indicates it is going to the 'Serra Malagueta' area. Board the bus and pay the fare, which is usually around 50 CVE. The journey will take about 20 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Serra Malagueta Natural Park. Once you get off, follow the signs leading to the park entrance.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Praia. After renting, head towards Avenida Amílcar Cabral and follow the same route as if you were walking. Cycling will allow you to reach Serra Malagueta Natural Park more quickly, in about 15 to 20 minutes. Make sure to follow the road signs and be cautious of traffic.
