From the center of Assomada, head towards the main road Avenida 1 de Maio. Walk west along this road until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the road towards Ribeira da Barca. Continue straight for about 5 kilometers. You will pass through small villages and see signs directing you to Ribeira da Barca. After approximately 30 minutes of walking, you will reach the beach area of Ribeira da Barca. Follow the signs to the beachfront area where you can enjoy the scenic views.
