If you are travelling by car, start from the center of Praia de Atalaia. Head southeast on the main road towards Santa Maria. Continue straight for about 15 kilometers until you reach a fork in the road. Take the left fork towards Santa Maria and follow the signs to the South East Coast. After approximately 5 kilometers, you will see signs for Kite Beach Coastline. Turn left onto J454 and follow this road until you reach the beach area. There is usually no entry fee, but parking may cost around 200 CVE.

For those taking public transportation, look for the local 'aluguer' (shared taxi) services from Praia de Atalaia to Santa Maria. The fare is typically around 100 CVE per person. Once you arrive in Santa Maria, ask the driver to drop you off near the South East Coast. From there, you can either walk (about 1 kilometer) or take another aluguer directly to Kite Beach Coastline.
