If you are starting from the main square in Santa Maria, head west towards the beach. Walk along the beachfront promenade (Avenida da Praia) until you reach the end of the beach. From there, continue straight on the main road (Rua 5 de Julho) until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Rua de 15 de Agosto. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Rua do Norte. Turn left onto Rua do Norte, and then take the first right onto Tanquinho Norte. Casa Pau Guesthouse will be on your right at number 4111.
