Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from Praia de Atalaia and head southeast on the main road (R. da Praia). Continue straight until you reach the junction with the road leading to Chã de Tanque. Turn right and follow the signs to Chã de Tanque. After approximately 3 kilometers, you will reach the area of Chã de Tanque. The Museu da Tabanca is located at the address 37RX+RGR, Chao de Tanque. Look for parking nearby as you approach the museum.

• Public Transportation

  For public transportation, take a local bus from Praia de Atalaia to Chã de Tanque. Buses are typically available from early morning until late afternoon. Make sure to ask the driver if they stop at Chã de Tanque or look for a bus that indicates Chã de Tanque as one of its stops. The fare is usually around 50 CVE. Once you arrive in Chã de Tanque, follow the signs to the Museu da Tabanca, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Head southeast on the main road and look for local directions to the museum.

• Taxi

  You can also opt for a taxi from Praia de Atalaia to the Museu da Tabanca. Taxis are available throughout the area, and you can either hail one on the street or call for a taxi service. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. The fare may vary but expect to pay approximately 300-500 CVE. Make sure to confirm the price with the driver before starting your journey.
