Car
Start your journey in Praia de Atalaia by heading northeast on the main road, Avenida de Praia. Continue straight for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit at the roundabout to stay on Avenida de Praia. After about 3 kilometers, you will see signs for Playa de Palmarejo. Turn left onto Rua do Campo and follow the road as it curves. After a short distance, you will arrive at Playa de Palmarejo, located at the coordinates WF39+JXQ, Praia.

Public Transportation
From Praia de Atalaia, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is usually located along the main road. Look for a 'Praia' bus or shared taxi (known as 'aluguer') that travels towards Praia. The fare is typically around 100 CVE (Cape Verdean Escudo). After about 30 minutes, get off at the Praia city center. From there, switch to a local taxi heading to Playa de Palmarejo. The taxi fare should be around 200 CVE, and it will take approximately 10 minutes to reach the beach.

If you prefer to walk, you can start from Praia de Atalaia and head towards Praia city center. It is about a 1.5-hour walk (approximately 7 kilometers). Follow the coastal path or Avenida de Praia, enjoying the scenic views along the way. Once you reach Praia, you can ask locals for directions to Playa de Palmarejo, or continue walking towards the west along the coastline until you reach the beach.
