There is usually parking available nearby, but be prepared for a small fee of around 2-5 CVE for parking, depending on the area.

From Praia de Cruz, take a local minibus (also known as 'aluguer') heading to Santa Maria. Buses are frequent and usually leave from designated stops; the fare is approximately 50 CVE. Inform the driver that you wish to get off at Santa Maria. Once you arrive at the main bus terminal in Santa Maria, you can either walk to Praia de Igrejinha, which will take about 15-20 minutes, or take a local taxi for around 200 CVE. If walking, head towards the beach area and follow the signs for Praia de Igrejinha.
