Walking
From the center of Praia, head towards the main avenue, Avenida 5 de Julho. Walk towards the direction of the government buildings until you reach the roundabout at Praça Alexandre de Almeida. At the roundabout, take the exit towards the National Highway (Estrada Nacional). Continue walking along this road; it will eventually lead you towards the direction of Cidade Velha. The walk is approximately 30 to 40 minutes. As you walk, you'll pass by local shops and cafes, which you can explore along the way.

From the center of Praia, you can take a 'Aluguer' (shared taxi) towards Cidade Velha. Head to the Aluguer station located near the market area (Mercado Municipal).
