If you are driving from Santa Maria Beach, head northeast on the main road (A1) towards Espargos. Continue for about 16 km until you reach the roundabout at Espargos. Take the second exit onto the road towards Feijoal. Continue for approximately 5 km until you reach the coordinates P4Q4+HFR. Follow the signs for Shark Bay, which is well-marked. Parking is available near the entrance, but be aware that parking may incur a small fee.

To reach Shark Bay via public transport, take a local taxi or shared minibus (known as 'aluguer') from Santa Maria Beach to Espargos. The ride typically costs around €2-€3 per person and takes about 30 minutes. Once in Espargos, transfer to another aluguer heading towards Feijoal. Inform the driver you are going to Shark Bay. The fare should be around €1-€2, and the journey will take an additional 20-30 minutes. Make sure to check the schedule, as the frequency may vary.
