The Ruth Bancroft Garden is located at 1552 Bancroft Rd, Walnut Creek, CA 94598. From Highway 680, exit at Treat Blvd and head east. Turn right onto Bancroft Road. The garden will be on your right, after making a U-turn at Stratton Road. Parking is available at the main entrance. Additional parking can be found on Stratton Rd and Banbury Rd. Please be respectful of the neighbors when parking on the street.

The Ruth Bancroft Garden is accessible via public transportation. From the Walnut Creek BART station, take County Connection bus #3 towards Concord. Get off at the Bancroft Rd and Ygnacio Valley Rd stop. Walk north on Bancroft Road for approximately 0.2 miles. The garden will be on your right. A one-way bus fare is approximately $2.25.

If you are arriving from nearby neighborhoods, such as Ygnacio Valley, walking to the Ruth Bancroft Garden is a pleasant option. From Ygnacio Valley Road, turn onto Bancroft Road and walk north for approximately 0.2 miles. The garden will be on your right. Please note that there are sidewalks along Bancroft Road, but they may be uneven in places.
