BART
From any location in Berkeley, find your way to the nearest BART station. The Downtown Berkeley BART station is a popular choice. Once there, board a train heading towards San Francisco/Daly City. You will need to get off at the Embarcadero station. Upon exiting the station, follow the signs to the Ferry Building. From there, walk towards the waterfront and head northwest along the Embarcadero until you reach Pier 43 1/2.

Bus
Catch AC Transit bus number 1, 40, or 51 from various locations around Berkeley. Make sure to check the stops for the bus that will take you towards San Francisco. You will want to get off at the stop near the Transbay Terminal (look for the sign indicating Transbay Terminal). From the terminal, you can either walk or take a Muni bus that drops you off at Fisherman's Wharf. Walk along the waterfront, and you will reach Pier 43 1/2.

Bicycle
If you're up for a bike ride, you can rent a bicycle at one of the many bike rental shops in Berkeley. Head towards the Ohlone Greenway and follow the path leading south. Make your way to the Bay Trail and follow it towards San Francisco. Once you cross the bridge into the city, continue on the bike lane towards Fisherman's Wharf. Pier 43 1/2 will be located at the waterfront. Please be mindful of traffic and bike lanes.

If you're feeling adventurous and up for a long walk, start from the UC Berkeley campus and head down Telegraph Avenue towards the waterfront. Continue south until you reach the Embarcadero. Turn right and walk along the waterfront towards Fisherman's Wharf. After a scenic walk of approximately 1.5 miles, you will arrive at Pier 43 1/2. Make sure to take in the sights along the way!
