Bus
From Berkeley, walk to the nearest bus stop and catch the AC Transit bus line 72 or 72M towards San Francisco. Ride the bus until you reach the 'Bancroft Way & Telegraph Ave' stop. Transfer to the San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) at the Downtown Berkeley station. Take the BART train towards San Francisco/Daly City. Exit at the Embarcadero station. Once you exit, walk towards the waterfront and follow the signs to the Ferry Building. From there, you can catch a ferry or take a bus to Fort Mason, where the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park is located.

Start at the Downtown Berkeley BART station. Take the BART train towards San Francisco/Daly City and get off at the Embarcadero station. From Embarcadero, exit the station and walk towards the Ferry Building. Continue walking along the waterfront until you reach Fort Mason. The San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park is located within Fort Mason, and you will find the entrance nearby.

Rent a bike in Berkeley and head towards the Bay Trail that runs along the waterfront. Follow the trail along the shoreline until you reach the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge. Continue towards the Embarcadero, and then head west towards Fort Mason. The San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park is located in Fort Mason, and you will see signage directing you to the entrance.
